The second phase of relief goods distribution began earlier today, October 5, and will go on until Saturday, October 10, 2009. Those interested in volunteering should get in touch with the Center for Social Concern and Action (COSCA) at Br. Gabriel Connon Hall (Fourth floor, SPS Building, 524-4611 locals 147 and 417).

Donations of food, clothing, water, medicine and other necessities for Ondoy victims are welcome until Friday, October 9. After this date, only cash donations to support community rehabilitation and development, as well as counseling efforts, will be accepted by DLSU via the appropriate channels (UCPB bank accounts, DLSU Accounting Office, and GlobalGiving.com) .

The Sagip Metro Team thanks all those who shared their time and resources to those who were most in need during the past week. There's more left to be done to rebuild the lives of those who were devastated by Ondoy, so it is our hope that we all continue to give what we can.
